This Inaugural Autism (ASD) Research Symposium is hosted by Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University (Canada) and The Institute for Medical Research Israel-Canada (Hebrew University in Jerusalem) and will be take place at the Institute for Advanced Studies at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

The symposium seeks to
- Create and foster partnerships in Autism Research between Canadian, and Israeli researchers
- Highlight expertise that addresses needs for research and affect treatment outcomes
- Present updated clinical and research knowledge to an international audience
- Provide opportunities for presentations, round table discussions and informal gatherings
